Who is E-decoration for?


E-decoration is a perfect solution if you need a bit of advice and help but don’t necessarily want to hire an interior designer firm to come to your home. With E- Decorating we can create the look you want to achieve, despite distance or budgetary restraints and can also work within a short time frame.


What does E-Decorating include?


E-decoration allows our experience in interior design to be available to anyone in a fast and easy way. We can give our opinion about your space and how to make slight improvements or give a room a complete overhaul and new look. Once we have discussed your personal requirements, we will then supply an e-document design package which will include our ideas, explaining where each sourced item/furnishing should go, new colour schemes on one document as well as an e-mood board (samples of e-mood boards below) to give you an overview of the aesthetic and style of the room.
We will offer ideas of how to fill any empty spaces/walls along with your ‘where to buy’ list with prices and links which will include various options. We are also always available to talk on the phone to discuss your project and happy to give feedback on any of your own ideas. (Please see examples of mood boards and e-documents below)


How does the E-decoration process work?


We would ideally like to have an initial conversation to discuss your requirements or if a visit is preferred this will be a cost of £100 within Greater London.  Once agreed, we would ask you to fill out our questionnaire and then send over some photos or video clips your room and floor plans if you have them. It is also helpful to send any links or photos of inspirational ideas and images that you may have seen or collected. We would need to know the dimensions of the room, the height and where windows/doors and radiators are placed and also a rough idea of budget.


What is the time scale?


Once your information sheet, room images, measurements, inspiration links and payment have been received, we will begin to create your design. We design each room, one at a time, and this usually takes approximately 1 week depending on our schedule and we will then send you our recommendations and mood board. If your project involves multiple rooms then we can discuss how long this will take and we will try to work within your time frame.


What are the prices?


Price is based on room size and work required and typically ranges from £200 for a hallway, between £800-£1500 for living rooms, £500-£800 for bedrooms depending on amount of items needed to be sourced. Trade discounts of up to 30% in certain stores can be obtained, saving you money and recouping the initial design fee and more.
